LEADS

Saskatchewan League of Educational Administrators, Directors and Superintendents 

Applications are invited for the position of Executive Director of LEADS, to commence employment on or about September 1, 2018, or other mutually determined date.

The Position

The Executive Director acts as the Chief Executive Officer, reporting to an elected executive.  The successful applicant will be required to provide leadership in developing, achieving, and maintaining LEADS programs and services, as well as overseeing the financial affairs of the organization.  The Executive Director will work with the membership to provide a LEADS voice in the province on critical issues in education.

Duties also include maintaining liaison with other educational organizations, networking with key committees, informing members about the operations of the League and acting as its registrar, advising members on contractual matters, and performing other duties as delegated by the executive.

Salary, benefits, and other related matters will be topics for discussion between the selection committee and the successful applicant.  The position is designated at 60% time, and affords flexibility in scheduling.  The LEADS office is in Saskatoon.

Qualifications

 The successful applicant will hold, at minimum, a Master’s degree in Education, have successful teaching and senior administrative experience in a school division or other educational organization, and demonstrate strong communication and technical skills.
